I'm realizing how spoiled I was at Ringling. I'm kind of limited on what I can do without a scanner or Illustrator, thank god my mom got me a nice Canon xsi to take decent pictures of my work. I'm dying to scan bitch and the dog in to turn it into a clean vector.

Sketchbook Boredom #8

Portrait of Gaahl, former lead singer of the black metal band Gorgoroth. He's a pretty sick dude. My final is the top one, I originally wanted to do it completely traditionally but I ran out of time and gradients are just so easy to do in Photoshop that I couldn't resist.

I like this illustration so much better without the parents. This is my final as far as I'm concerned :)

The greatest musical group of all time....we'll they were to me when I was 9. Anyways I'm not done with it I'm gonna really do this one up and add rainbows and diamonds and maybe I'll through some glitter on it if I feel like. Basically I just want to make it the most obnoxious thing ever. Plus I really need to redo baby she looks busted. 

I had to illustrate a poem titled "Ape," about a man whose wife serves him monkey for dinner every night and he's sick of eating it. Definitely a concept I would never come up with so it was pretty fun.
